Shop policies
What you need to know about buying, printing and keeping your little worlds.
The owner of Bookish3D
Bookish3D is Kyaris’s creative project, with business activity in Portugal. The shop owner is also the controller of customer personal data.
The owner’s legal name, tax number, professional address and customer support email still need to be completed.
What you are buying
You are buying digital 3D model files. We do not ship physical figurines. Each listing specifies the formats, contents, price, printing requirements and licence. Colour renders show a possible finish; STL files contain geometry without textures or paint.
You need software compatible with the listed formats and a suitable printer or printing service. Read each model’s notes: orientation, supports, scale and settings may need preparation.
Ordering, payment and delivery
Prices are in euros. Review your bag before continuing; the final amount and applicable taxes are displayed before you confirm payment. Purchases are one-off, with no subscription or physical shipping charges. Available payment methods appear on Stripe’s payment page.
Stripe processes payment on its own page. Bookish3D does not receive your full card number or security code. Files become available after payment confirmation; methods with delayed confirmation may delay delivery. If something goes wrong, contact customer support with your order reference.
Downloads and your library
Sign in to My library using the email from your purchase. Sign-in and download links last 15 minutes; request another sign-in link and generate fresh download links for your purchases. Keep those links and your email access private.
Your library lets you download confirmed purchases again while the service is available. Keep a personal backup too: we do not promise indefinite hosting. Service interruptions or changes do not limit your statutory rights to supply and conformity.
Personal-use licence
Your purchase grants a non-exclusive licence to download, print and paint the model for personal use. You may keep backups and adapt the piece for your own prints. You may not share, upload, redistribute or resell the files, sell physical prints or use them commercially without specific permission.
The Empyrean and Quicksilver / Fae & Alchemy collections are independent, unofficial fan art. Bookish3D is not affiliated with or endorsed by their authors or publishers. The file licence does not transfer rights in characters, names, trademarks or other works belonging to their respective rights holders.
Withdrawal and refunds
You normally have 14 days from concluding the contract to withdraw without giving a reason. To receive your files immediately after payment, tick the specific checkbox before continuing to Stripe: you request supply during that period and acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal when supply begins. The checkbox is unchecked by default. We save your acceptance with the order and email a copy of the terms and consent before enabling downloads. Accepting these policies alone does not constitute that waiver.
Once supply begins with that express consent, acknowledgement and confirmation, we do not offer refunds for a change of mind. This does not affect your rights if a file is not delivered, is defective or does not match its description. If the legal requirements for losing the right of withdrawal are not met, you retain that right.
To withdraw, send customer support a clear statement with your order and date. You may use the template below. Where applicable, we will refund your payment within 14 days of your notice, using the same payment method unless you agree otherwise at no cost to you.
Withdrawal notice template
To the owner of Bookish3D: I withdraw from my purchase of [model and order reference], placed on [date]. Name: [name]. Address: [address]. Purchase email: [email]. Notice date: [date]. Add your signature if sending this on paper.
If something is wrong with a file
If you have a problem with a download or model, write to the customer support email listed in the owner’s details. Include your order reference, filename and a description of the problem; add an error screenshot if useful. We will help you find a solution. For digital content supplied in a single act, Portuguese law provides liability for lack of conformity that becomes apparent within two years of supply.
You are entitled to have it brought into conformity free of charge, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience; in the circumstances provided by law, to a price reduction or termination of the contract. These rights remain even if the withdrawal right has been lost. No shop term limits mandatory consumer protection.
Privacy and your data
We use your purchase email, order and payment references, products and amounts to deliver files, provide library access and resolve issues, on the basis of performing the contract. We also save the date, language, version and text of your immediate-supply acceptance and the purchase terms as evidence of the agreement and to meet information obligations. This consent concerns digital supply, not advertising. Information required for invoicing is processed to meet legal obligations. Technical and session data protect access and prevent abuse, based on our legitimate interest in keeping the shop secure.
Cloudflare hosts the application, orders and files; Stripe handles payments; Resend sends transactional emails. Hosting through Sites may also involve OpenAI processing access data. Each provider receives data needed for its role and may have independent obligations. Their services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area; applicable safeguards are described in their privacy notices.
Purchase records are kept as needed to deliver your models and manage the relationship, then for statutory periods relating to invoicing, liability or claims. Credentials expire: 15 minutes for links and 30 days for sessions. Expiry does not mean all technical records are deleted at that instant. We do not use your data for advertising or marketing profiles.
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection where applicable, using the owner’s contact details. You may complain to Portugal’s CNPD or your local authority. Providing your email and necessary purchase details is required for file delivery and library access.

Cookies and browser storage
The website keeps your bag’s model identifiers in browser local storage until you remove them or clear browser data. After library sign-in, the essential bookish_session cookie keeps your session for up to 30 days; signing out removes it. You can block or clear this storage in your browser, although your bag or access may stop working.
We do not add advertising analytics or our own marketing cookies. Stripe’s payment page and the hosting provider’s access services have their own cookie and security policies. If optional technologies are introduced, we will explain them and request consent where required.
Complaints and dispute resolution
You can consult Portugal’s official complaint channels and alternative dispute resolution bodies. This does not prevent you from applying to a competent court or limit mandatory protection in your country of residence.
The competent arbitration body and the shop’s registration details for the Livro de Reclamações still need to be confirmed with the owner.
